Kris learned early in childhood how tourism and real estate play key roles in the local economy. Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, Kris moved with her family to Sarasota in 1959. Her parents soon bought a motel on Siesta Key and her mother became a real estate agent.

“I was expected to do my share in making sure rooms were cleaned and guests were happy,” Kris says. “And with my mother being a real estate agent on the Key, I was privileged to learn the profession from one of the very best.”

In 1991, Kris joined the business with her mother at Helene Anderson Realty on Siesta Key. In 1994, Helene sold the company to Century 21 Advantage, followed by RE/MAX Alliance in 2007. Then, in 2008, she moved to the Michael Saunders Company. In 2023, she joined Coldwell Banker Realty Siesta Key, bringing her back to her roots of growing up on Siesta Key. Kris is a sought-after mentor for new agents, helping them become great agents and earn “Rookie of the Year” status.
